I’ve been working on my first knitted garment, the Knittin’ Pretty Simple Shell from Chicks with Sticks Guide to Knitting. It’s felt like miles and miles of stockinette stitch that would never end, and then suddenly, it’s DONE and there’s the moment where I’m at a loss for what to do.
But, it doesn’t last long! The piece needs to be blocked and seamed, and then I’ll probably crochet an edging around the neck and armholes in a different single color yarn.
I have reached the end of the portable portion of the project. I’m working up swatch so I can test out my edging yarn options, but the main work will have to wait for some free time at home.
