Becky & Dan's K-1 Visa Experience

    November 19, 2003
  • Dan's AOS Interview was YESTERDAY, and he was approved! More details coming soon.
  • E-mail issues again...
Our spam e-mail count has been creeping up, so we don't always open e-mails from unrecognized names. If you e-mail us, try to be descriptive in your subject line and mention something like "INS" (or "BCIS" or "CIS") , "K-1", "AOS", or the INS form you're talking about, or really just anything that ties it in to the website. I'd really hate to delete someone's e-mail!
  • Discussion is more than welcome on the forum

Becky is from the U.S. and Dan is from England. This site is all about our experiences with the K-1 Visa and subsequent Adjustment of Status. Here you will find what forms we used, what evidence we had to file, what letters we had to write, etc.

The K-1 Fiancé(e) Visa is what you need to bring a foreign fiancé(e) to live and work in the U.S. legally. It's a long process, but as love knows no boundaries, it is well worth the effort. This site is really intended for people who are looking for details of how to file K-1 and AOS paperwork. If you need more general information, or are still trying to see what type of visa is best for you and your loved ones, I recommend Doc Steen's Marriage Visa Pages. That site has a lot of great information on the various options and can help you make a decision as to which method is right for your situation.

It is our hope that someone out there will find our site as useful as we found others. Feel free to drop us a line if you like the site, or find out more about us by looking at the about page.

Check out the updates page to see recent changes & what's in the works.

Good Luck!

~ Becky & Dan
