We filed our AOS paperwork before Dan's 90 days were up, but about a month after the wedding. If we could do that over again, we would have had the paperwork all but finished before the wedding so we could mail it out as soon as we were back from the honeymoon and had received our marriage certificate.
The main reason we would file it ASAP, is because we really need Dan to get his EAD, and if we had filed a few weeks earlier, he more than likely would have been able to get his EAD a few months earlier... but this is all really here nor there in the long run.
